Located north of Highway 6 and 24, Glenwood Springs Mall is an existing traditional single story mall of approximately 220,000 SF. The renovation includes turning the mall inside out and into a power center that includes major national brands. The redesign includes a large, partially covered central plaza with shops space for eateries and smaller retail tenants, a large anchor tenant, and an oversized fire place as the center point. The architectural theme is a “mountain contemporary” theme that utilizes flat and sloped rooflines, wood timbers, wood paneling, steel, glass, and block construction. Additionally, the intent is to use as much of the existing structure as possible.
